ONE introduced a monitoring system with “cutting-edge technology”

At an event held at the Sociedad Elías Regules in Montevideo, the shipping and container company ONE presented new technology called “Container +,” which is already available in most of the company’s containers.

Chilean national Claudio Asenjo was responsible for unveiling this technology that “lets you see what is happening with the cargo at all times,” he said. Currently, around 60% of ONE’s fleet has the device installed, and the goal is to cover 70% by the end of the year. It is “a remote monitoring system with cutting-edge technology,” he explained, representing “a significant leap in terms of data transparency and real-time information availability.”

The system updates every hour and provides information on the container’s location in real time, its temperature, humidity levels, and the reefer’s connection status.

This technology “supports proactive decision-making,” he assured.
