Record domestic consumption and beef exports in 2024

The sharp rise in beef production last year allowed both exports and domestic consumption to reach record levels. Based on Secex data, Brazil exported the equivalent of 3.55 million tons carcass weight, an annual increase of 25%. Meanwhile, domestic consumption rose to 6.82 million tons, 11.4% more than in the previous year.
