Transition stage for cattle prices

After the sharp adjustment in cattle prices last week, the market is now in a “transition” phase. According to a market operator, list prices indicate references of US$ 3.50-3.55 per kg carcass weight for common males and US$ 3.30 for finished cows. However, supply has dropped significantly because many producers are busy with vaccinations or unable to load cattle in the short term.
