Beef imported prices from steady to higher
Compared to the last market test, US beef import prices were slightly higher, instances moderately higher. Trading was moderate. Imported supplies from Australia and New Zealand remained tight for nearby delivery. There were trade concerns about lighter than expected US cattle slaughter numbers and the upcoming Lenten season, according to USDA weekly report.
