Average export value fell to its lowest level in eight weeks

Brazil exported 99,849 tons of beef in the first two weeks of February at an average FOB value of US$4,948 per ton, according to data from the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (Secex). In the second week of the month alone, the country exported 52,463 tons, averaging 10,493 tons per day, the highest rate since the last week of December.
