A massive fire broke out on Monday afternoon at Frigorífico Gorina, one of the country’s leading beef exporters. According to media reports, the blaze began in the packaging area and spread rapidly. Although there were no injuries, the plant was reportedly almost destroyed. As of yesterday, the company was assessing the damage and exploring options to reorganize its operations.
