Angus beef exports grew 9% in 2024

Brazilian Angus beef exports grew 9.2% last year, reaching 3.1 thousand tons, according to the Brazilian Angus and Ultrablack Association.

Among the main destinations for Brazilian products, China continues to stand out, importing more than 50% of the total. The Middle East and Chile rank second and third, respectively. The association’s report also notes a record in slaughter.

Last year, 510,000 animals were slaughtered, up 1.5% compared with the previous year. Moreover, between 2023 and 2024, there was a 19.9% increase in the utilization rate of final products from approved carcasses, Estadão reported.
