Sharp drop in chilled beef exports

Chilled boneless exports fell 22.6 % year on year in March. The decline was driven by Chile ( 30.5 %), the EU ( ≈35 %, partly because the Quota 481 window closed), the United States ( 33.1 %) and Brazil ( 38.5 %). Of the main chilled cut destinations, only Mexico grew (+23.9 %).
